Terms and Conditions

1) Payments

1.1 A booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received and the contract has been signed. The booking fee is non-refundable.

1.2 Payments must be made via bank transfer. The final payment must be received at least two weeks prior to the event date. If paying by cheque, payment must be made at least one month prior to allow time for clearance.

2) Changes to Services

2.1 Any modifications to the agreed services must be confirmed in writing by both parties.

3) Invoicing and Settlement

3.1 The Client will receive an invoice for the performance fee and any additional agreed services as stated in the booking confirmation.

3.2 The Client must settle the invoice by the due date unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.

4) Cancellation Policy

4.1 If the Client cancels the booking, they will be liable for cancellation charges as follows:

  • 30-59 days prior to the event date: 25% of the total invoice.

  • 15-29 days prior to the event date: 50% of the total invoice.

  • Less than 15 days prior to the event date: 100% of the total invoice.

4.2 If the venue provided by the Client is unable to accommodate the act(s), and the act(s) is/are unable to perform as a result, the Client will be liable for cancellation charges as outlined in clause 4.1.

5) Venue Requirements

5.1 The Client must ensure that the venue is suitable for the performance, including adequate stage space, electrical supply, and sound equipment as agreed.

5.2 The DJ reserves the right to refuse to perform at venues with sound limiters installed. The Client must check with the venue regarding sound limiters and discuss any concerns with the DJ in advance.

6) Conduct and Safety

6.1 If the act(s) is/are subjected to verbal or physical abuse, threats, or harassment from any individual at the event, the act(s) reserves the right to immediately terminate the performance without penalty. The Client remains liable for the full fee.

7) Performance Schedule and Delays

7.1 Any changes to the agreed performance schedule must be confirmed in writing and are subject to these terms and conditions.

7.2 If a delay in starting the performance is caused by the Client or their guests, the act(s) is/are not required to extend the performance and the Client remains liable for the full agreed fee.

8) Overtime and Additional Performance Time

8.1 If the Client requests an extension of the performance time, an additional fee of £50 per hour will be charged. This must be paid in cash before the overtime begins.

8.2 The act(s) is/are not obligated to extend the performance beyond the originally agreed duration.

9) Governing Law and Jurisdiction

9.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.

9.2 Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
